With Diplomas in Property and Business Studies – in a non ASIC regulated industry, she’s uniquely qualified to develop and also fulfill successful and sustainable property investment strategies for her diverse range of clients - investors, SMSF trustees and home buyers alike.
Why establish Property Mavens ? With a background in the financial services industry, Miriam was interested in property from a young age. Starting at 23, she began building her own portfolio, but some misguided ‘advice’ from selling agents led to some very costly mistakes! The agents weren’t qualified or insured to provide investment advice and this experience contributed to her becoming passionate about the advocacy side of the property industry, and ultimately led to her starting Property Mavens.
“I see the devastation that has been wreaked on investors who have been led down the garden path by so called 'property advisors' who don’t have their best interests at heart. It can ruin people financially,” Miriam says. "As a buyer’s agent, my clients place a huge amount of trust in me, because it is their future security and happiness that is at stake. I am absolutely passionate about protecting buyers from being misled and overpaying for property while ensuring that they also make smarter and more profitable buying decisions.”
With over 30 years of practical experience, Miriam has successfully bought and sold over $1 billiion worth of properties for 100's of clients interstate and in Victoria. As a buyer's agent, she identifies strong performing investment opportunities for Property Mavens clients, removing the risk, stress and frustration of the property buying process for them, while generating remarkable results.
As a vendor advocate, she sources the best agents, with the best skillset, experience and sales strategy to generate the best sales and price outcome for clients, allowing them to seamlessly move on to the next stage of their life.
